If my student leaves KPS, do they lose the Kalamazoo Promise scholarship?+
Yes. The Kalamazoo Promise requires continuous enrollment in KPS through all four years of high school. A student who leaves KPS for HSOA is no longer eligible. Will an HSOA diploma be recognized by Western Michigan University or KVCC?+
HSOA is nationally accredited. WMU and KVCC both accept applications from homeschool graduates with accredited diplomas.
