Chesapeake: Hampton Roads, Built Wide

Chesapeake is one of Hampton Roads’ largest cities and Virginia’s largest by area, sitting at the center of a region defined by the Navy, the Coast Guard, the Port of Virginia, and the Great Dismal Swamp. Families here juggle military schedules, commutes across the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel, training calendars, youth sports, and the kind of cross-state mobility that PCS orders bring.

That is the practical reality online home school is built for. Coursework continues whether the family is at home in Greenbrier, on a deployment cycle, or moving to a new duty station next quarter.

Yes. We offer year-round enrollment with no semester start dates to wait for. Military and relocating families especially appreciate that.
Is HSOA self-paced?
Yes. Students log in and complete coursework on their own schedule. No mandatory live class sessions, no bell schedule.
