How to withdraw, step by step

Get the enrollment form signed

Send the withdrawal letter
Write to the principal naming your child, the grade, and which of the three legal options you have chosen. Naming the option matters here in a way it does not in most states.
Request the records
The cumulative folder: transcript, credits earned, test history. For a high school student this is the document everything later depends on.
