Early graduation high school programs
Our Goodyear online high school offers a flexible schedule that allows students to earn their high school diploma while living at home and enjoying family time. The average student graduates in 1-2 years, depending on the program.
There are several Early Graduation High School Programs available. Students can choose the program that best suits their needs and interests.
The College Preparatory Program
Standard college-prep coursework structured for students aiming at four-year admission, with full transcript portability.
The Honors Program
Rigorous honors coursework across core subjects. Recognized on the transcript and weighted in college applications.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Program

PCS orders shouldn’t derail a diploma. We make sure they don’t.
Goodyear sits right outside the gate of Luke Air Force Base, and military families make up a significant share of the students we work with here. The challenge is always the same: PCS orders arrive, the family moves, and suddenly the student is three credits ahead of the new school’s sequence or missing a lab not offered there. Because HSOA is self-paced and the records transfer anywhere, none of that derails the graduation timeline. Credits carry a CEEB code that every college and admissions office can verify — it doesn’t matter whether the next duty station is in Arizona or across the country. Quick Answer
Do Goodyear families need to file an Affidavit of Intent to switch to online high school?
No. The Affidavit of Intent under ARS §15-802 applies to home-based instruction. Whether enrollment in an online private school counts as private school attendance or as home instruction can depend on the county, so confirm with the Maricopa County School Superintendent before withdrawing. Families instructing at home file an affidavit of intent there.
If the student is currently enrolled in Agua Fria Union High School District or a neighboring district school, the family withdraws there and we handle the records request. The student is in coursework within the week.
Where the Diploma Goes
Where the diploma takes Goodyear graduates
A school-issued diploma reads the same to admissions offices and employers whether it was issued in person or online. Graduates from established online programs apply to Estrella Mountain Community College, Arizona State University, the University of Arizona, Grand Canyon University, and the broader Arizona university network. Career-tech and dual-enrollment pathways are well established; honors and AP coursework appear on the transcript the same as a brick-and-mortar transcript.
For students whose plans take them out of state, especially common for Luke Air Force Base families navigating PCS orders, where the student needs to keep pace academically without re-enrolling in a new district with each set of orders, the CEEB code is registered, the diploma is recognized, and the records are verifiable. That portability is the practical difference between a homeschool credential and a school-issued one.
